A camping trip in North Limburg where you can enjoy tranquility, space and real Limburg hospitality, is what you get at Parc de Witte Vennen in Oostrum near Venray. The over-50’s can enjoy a marvellous comfortable holiday in Limburg, which is renowned as one of the most beautiful regions in the Netherlands. Our campsite is located by the water, and is suitable for nature lovers who want to relax in a quiet, wooded area in North Limburg, but it also offers plenty of activities and opportunities for the more active people within this age group.
Parc de Witte Vennen provides a campsite for the older generation with a quieter profile, and it is not part of a chain. As a result, thought has been given to the requirements of all the guests. Moreover, the park is spaciously laid out, clean and equipped with various facilities for this over- 50’s age group, such as:
– Extremely spacious (comfort) camping pitches amongst the greenery with a lot of privacy, suitable for campervan, tent or caravan and equipped with internet- and TV-connections.
– Spacious and fully heated sanitary buildings with free showers, underfloor heating, wash cubicles and disabled toilets.
– A small wellness centre
The over-50’s campsite in Oostrum, near Venray, is a great place for the older generation both during and outside of the peak season. Unaccompanied youths are not allowed on our property, so you will not be disturbed at night. During the peak season, there is always a healthy mix of families and people over 50 at the campsite. The low season offers a great opportunity to relax in the wooded area, and during these periods special rates and ACSI (Auto Camper Service International) tariffs apply to the 55-plus age group.

If you don’t have your own caravan, tent or camper van, you can also rent a comfortable over-50’s bungalow at our park. Our bungalows are ideal for this age group, with spacious ground floor, wheelchair friendly, bath and shower, and even a terrace located directly by the water or in forest. For the more budget conscious seniors we have cosy Scandinavian chalets for hire. And the great thing is that the over-55’s get to enjoy 15% discount on rental rates outside the peak holiday periods.

We organize numerous activities at Parc de Witte Vennen aimed at the over-50’s, such as an evening walk with a guide or map, rummikub evenings, archery and darts competitions. Or slip into our cosy lounge bar where you can enjoy free internet access, traditional Dutch games, a library and a TV corner. Also available to the Over-50’s are:

The over-50’s can enjoy the shops and terraces in the local area, such as those in Venray. Or you can take a trip to the Hertog Jan Brewery in Arcen, go walking or cycling through the Geijsteren estate, or check out the many other sights that North Limburg is rich in.
